Sun Bonnet Gals

My "Mom" Esther found some Sun Bonnet Sue squares on the internet and purchased them thinking she could make a quilt. When she asked for my input and help, I discovered the squares were not basted or centered in a way that would be helpful to the project. I asked to take them home to see what I could do. I took apart each square, re-centered and appliquéd them onto each square. Then I proceeded to design and construct a quilt around the colors in the Sues and used a "quilt as you go" method to join them together.
