Just playing

When I retired one of my 'gifts' to me was an amazing quilting/embroidery sewing machine. It has served me well doing strightline machine quilting on kingsized quilts. However, I am still getting the hang of the embroidery part of it. Here a cushion that I have made as a Christmas gift for one of my great-nephew's school friends. She has just had surgery so I am hoping this will cheer her up. I particulary like how the FM stippling has turnout, I used a Superior Threads - glitter (111 colour) which give a lovely translucent sheen to the thread when it catches the light.
