Serendipity in Green

This fabric, 'Juliette' by Penny Rose for Riley Blake, has been drifting around my sewing room for over a year now. It was left over from an earlier project and I did not know what to do with it. Inspired by a post be 'Judy loves to quilt' I realised that I did not want to cut up what was left of the flowered fabric (24 x 4 inch strips) so I decided on a simple strip, slash and flip design, filling in the boarders and decorative panel as the more plain fabrics allowed. The decorative quilting uses a design from Boarders Made Easy #111. I managed to complete it to gift to one of my nieces, who is over the moon with it.
