To keep me warm!

I love the colour of this quilt it is so vibrant, and cheering. The fabric is Midwinter Reds by Minick and Simpson for Moda and the pattern is the coin quilt with a little pizzazz from one of Jenny's tutorials some time ago now. I made it for me (very first one of many I hope) after making one a couple of years ago as a thank you to my greatnephew's childminder when he started school. I liked that one so much I nearly did not give it to her!! Anyway this one has kept me warm on some chilly nights this past winter. I loved doing the quilting which is from a builtin pattern on my sewing machine, slowly getting the hang of doing these.
