Home is Where the Heart Is!

I have been an educator for some 32 years. One of the greatest gifts that Facebook gives me is a connection with my "now adult" former students. So when one of my students lamented that she and her 4 year old daughter had lost everything in a fire, including the quilt that her daughter's great grandmother had made her, I knew I had to do something. Not only had she lost everything in a fire, but she had just moved hundreds of miles away from her hometown to start anew. I asked if I could gift her baby girl something to ease the pain a little about losing her very special quilt, and this is what I designed for her.
