My Bestie Gets TWO Quilts: How did that happen??

I try to spoil myself as often as I can. To that extent I try to spoil those around me as often as I can. I made my bestie Angel a quilt for her birth day. But she kept complaining that it was too short! Every time she lay under it she had to ball up or her feet would get cold! Ok! She got me. I can't stand cold feet myself. So I decided that I would make her another blanket (if for no other reason to keep her from telling the same story over and over again)! So I found a wonderful pattern (and I don't know where I found it) that takes 10" precuts and cuts them in half and adds a 2" sash down the middle. That block went together so fast that I didn't expect the quilt to be as beautiful as it turned out. And I made darn sure that it was long enough this time! So...case closed. And THAT is how she ended up with two quilts from me!
