Orange Peel 1 of a Kind!

When I saw Jenny show us how to make an easy orange peel quilt block I was on board! My eldest niece was in line to receive one of my quilts. Her favorite color is lime green. And I had just gotten my brand new sewing machine with all of the fancy stitches. And I had heard about this "quilt as you go" phenomenon! Well all things aligned and pointed to a "lime green orange peel quilt as you go" one of a kind quilt! Well! Let me tell you the reason it's one of a kind is because it is so HEAVY! I did not enjoy the process of piecing the quilt together at the end at all! I won't be jumping into the "quilt as you go" pool again anytime soon!
