Antique Block

A lady named Patsy, I traveled with, sent me a picture of an old quilt her mother in law made her over 60 years ago, when she married. Another lady Elizabeth found me the block in an antique quilting library. The block is called Papa’s Delight. It looks like a version of a kaleidoscope. Can you see the circles, it forms? So then another lady Carol is in my sewing group, gave me ALL the black & white fabrics. The yellow I had left from the Double Slice I posted here. Thank goodness for friends! It required a lot of pinning and slower sewing but I am pleased with the results. It still needs quilting which will have to wait until cooler weather. Hope you like it!-Toogie
