Papa’s Delight Quilted

I think I made this top about 2 months ago. I couldn’t get out to look for a backing. I finally ordered one online. It was more a cheddar color than a corn yellow. Anyway, I had to use it, so I quilted like I normally do, a meander or stipple. I quilted at first following the circles. I stitched in the ditch , then about 3/4 inch inside. I didn’t like the puffy look so I had to pick out those stitches and quilt by meandering. I like the illusion of circles the pattern and placement of colors provide. This was a lot of curved piecing, lot of pinning, lot of time but I am happy with the finish. Hope you like it too-Toogie
