Bees in the Garden
The pattern was Hexagon Garden , a ‘Just One Jelly Roll’ pattern by Pam and Nicky Lintott. I used 2 jelly rolls to make a double bed topper quilt. It was long-arm quilted by Paula Spalding of Old Farmhouse Quilts in a bee design. It was gifted to a Canadian friend. The construction is in strips to avoid Y-seams, so a bed or large table is required to lay it out. It was fun working with shades of blue that I was not sure were going to come together well, but in the end, I loved the colors.
