However, back at it with some aprons. One is a gift and the other will be sold at our town’s Christmas bazar this year. Time to start building up inventory. lol By ChristyJ 7 LIKES | 572 VIEWS Quick Baby Quilt This is for a friend of mine that likes traditional things. I decided a simple quilt, with 1930's fabric and tied would be perfect. It only takes one charm pack and some for a couple of borders. I did stitch in the ditch a couple of rounds just to strengthen it. By ChristyJ 11 LIKES | 640 VIEWS Quilt for Willow One of my friends is going to have a little girl named Willow. She already sounds precious and wanted to do a quilt for them. Her nursery theme is white and grey with arrows. So, I came up with this design and my best friend quilted it for me. Jeni's quilt tutorial was perfect, and the backing really makes the southwest feel pop. He was moved to tears and it was fun to do this for him. He served in the Army, left to go to college, then hopes to reenlist after he is done. My best friend did the quilting for me, and she did an amazing job. The quilt is my own design. I was struggling to come up with yet another manly looking quilt and was so excited when the tutorial came out last summer. Super fun to do, and my brother will love it. ;-) By ChristyJ 8 LIKES | 609 VIEWS Drake's Quilt My brother and his son love football, and have been watching it together since my nephew was a baby. Decided to do quilts of their favorite team for when they watch the games together. My nephew is now 10. I did just a simple stitch in the ditch to put it together. The pattern name is Indo Ikat from Michael Miller Fabrics. I appreciated the simplicity and how quickly it came together. The one for my brother just needs to be quilted, so coming soon.... When my husband asked me to do a quilt for his friend, I knew it had to be the hunter's star. I've been wanting to do this pattern for awhile. Thanks for the tutorial! I had a hard time with it, but did quilt it on my home machine. By ChristyJ 16 LIKES | 894 VIEWS Wanna go camping? Found this row by row at a quilt store in Helena, MT while on a road trip with my best friend. Decided it had to hang in my living room and enjoy it so much. Appliqués are fun, and will have to do more. By ChristyJ 8 LIKES | 709 VIEWS Slug Bug! My cousin Ben loves VW's and has restored some 1960's style bugs. He recently had a little girl and I had to do a quilt for her when I saw this fabric. Thank you Missouri Star for the tutorial and ideas you give all the time. By ChristyJ 9 LIKES | 697 VIEWS «123»
