I'm a retired e-911 operator, mother of two girls, grandmother to six and a recent widow. My husband bought me sewing and embroidery machines, a mechanical quilt frame and all the material I could use. He thrilled in my awards. He loved the quilt I made for his Vietnam reunion last year, so I let him have it and made a strip quilt instead to be raffled off. The quilt he claimed is going to the Vietnam Wall when our daughter and her husband go to DC.
