By 4Sunshine5grand 9 LIKES | 508 VIEWS Sam's Grown Man Quilt My nephew turned 25 and moved into his first apartment. Since I made him a baby quilt when his childhood started, it seemed only right to make him a quilt for the birth of his adulthood. By soulsinger40 7 LIKES | 376 VIEWS Meet in the Middle This quilt pattern is so simple but with so many possibilities. I have had fun playing with row arrangement and color variations. By Bea 9 LIKES | 474 VIEWS Purple Radiance Sometimes a room just needs a quilt to pull all together. This is the Radiance pattern from MSQ. First attempt at keyboard borders and creating a cornerstone to make a twist. By gwen 28 LIKES | 1160 VIEWS Altered Squares This quilt has taken me years to make! I started when I was made redundant several years ago, when I saw Jenny's tutorial. Having been furloughed from work during the pandemic I started bringing out my unfinished projects and decided to finish this one. Thanks for being so inspiring Jenny. By bual111 6 LIKES | 453 VIEWS "Bee Happy" Wedding Quilt My daughter decided she wanted to giver her good friend a quilt for their wedding ... in 3 weeks! So we went shopping in my stash. She selected on of my favorite layer cakes, "Sunset Blooms 10 Karat Crystals" by Wilmington. I had picked it up as a Daily Deal from MSQ back in June 2018. We were lucky enough to find fabric for the border and backing from the line (which surprised me). Since the wedding was 3 weeks off I decided to go with Jenny's Building Block tutorial. It came together quickly and my favorite local quilter squeezed me in with a darling sunflower quilting pattern. People who say it at the quilt shop asked it if was for sale - I've never sold a quilt so was very flattered. Long story short, I finished sewing on the custom label and binding two days before she had to leave for the wedding. Phew! I love how it turned out. The beautiful, colorful fabric really made this quilt pop. By Jzhuskies 5 LIKES | 440 VIEWS Bali Sunrise This is a "what am I going to do with this layer cake?" quilt. The batik mini-charms really stand out. By KenE 8 LIKES | 549 VIEWS Home Sweet Home Saw the “Suburbs” pattern and had to make it. It was such an easy pattern and fun to make. By Debnewcomb 16 LIKES | 452 VIEWS Spring Time Happy Quilt I made this one, along with matching pillow cases, for our guest room, love it so much I use it in the lounge room or on my bed too! Just using a simple half square, and let the fabric be the hero in this one. By Katerina 4 LIKES | 533 VIEWS Waves For my 12 y/o grandson. He likes dark purple, and the gray has an industrial sheen to it. For his new full size bed. By Kay1957 19 LIKES | 839 VIEWS Spring Rain Love this pattern. By estelle71 18 LIKES | 633 VIEWS Square Knot I’m making this for my niece who is getting married. I think this quilt block is beautiful, but it’s a challenge matching all the points. By sharonok 5 LIKES | 647 VIEWS Another Moda Love Quilt I love this pattern-it’s my go to quilt pattern when I need a quilting gift in a short timeframe! I made a quilt for my daughter using this pattern (it’s posted on the site) and she liked it so much she asked me to make one for two of her friends who are getting married. She picked the fabrics based on their wedding colors. We thought it was especially appropriate for the wedding since it’s called the Love quilt. She requested the same dense, straight line quilting that I did on her quilt. By Jacqueline 13 LIKES | 1156 VIEWS «1234567»
