Each year my husband exchanges gifts at work . He works at our church. So this year for the Pastor I made this small wall hanging of the Lord's Prayer. I have several of these in my stash box. I framed it with Stained Glass Window 2 1/2 jelly roll strips from a large Jelly Roll I got from Jenny Dolan at Missouri Star. Turn out well and I even quilted the item myself. Just learning how to do that with a machine by the way not by hand.

This is a Christmas gift for the business manager at our church. This is the second panel I have made of the same pattern but this has different borders and long arm lady did a better pattern I think for me also. The first one you will see I trimmed in black only binding. However this one has blue background with birds on the pattern design. I got these panels on a trip to visit the Quilt Museum in Paducah Ky. I think they were at the Eleanor Burns shop which is also downtown.

It's Christmas - when I saw this pattern on Pinterest - I have a friend who this is the perfect gift, my quilting mentor, Fran. The picture on Pinterest fussy cutted your special fabric. I had to decide on the complimenting block. I was contemplating blocks when it hit me, the Present Block, ( made with mini charm pack ) because Jesus is the best Christmas Gift, ever. . . . . . . . . . . . . . "For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you: Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace and goodwill towards men." Merry Christmas my friends.

I just love making Dresdens! A cute pattern for the first project of the year. Lots of fun and so cute.
