This is a baby quilt I made for my expecting coworker. I used Suzy Quilts free pattern "Bows and Arrows" and a curated collection of Art Gallery Fabrics to make this quilt. I used Dot to Dot quilting and a flower meander in the negative space to really make those arrows pop. This quilt was super quick and super cute! My coworker loved it :)

Sailing II: Baby Luke's quilt

This is the second time I've used this pattern and I really worked on the quilting by trying to make the quilting look like waves under the boats. I did loop-to-loops by the sailboats to give the impression of wind. This is for a brand new baby.

Project of Doom Baby Quilt

Jennifer Ofenstein designed the blocks and has them for free on FandomInStitches.com. When I found out I was going to be a grandmother, I immediately started this Harry Potter themed quilt for my new grandson (due in January). The front: Background was done with yardage and the rest was made with scraps and fat quarters from my stash. The back: 10" squares of Harry Potter Collection by Camelot Design Studio and yardage from stash. Quilting by Rainey Turner.

Airplanes for a Baby Boy

One of the young Moms at church is about to have her 8th baby. She has never had a quilt...so I made this one for her. The fabric is Little Flyers by Riley Blake. I saw a similar quilt on Pinterest so I drew the applique planes. I used Baby ricrac to simulate the exhaust on the planes and colored buttons to simulate attaching the engine propeller. I backed the quilt with soft and warm minky. I also made an airplane receiving blanket and two matching burp cloths.
