Traveling Around in Fall
Fall in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley is incredible. This quilt reminds me of lying underneath trees in fall and staring at a clear blue sky.

Pumpkin Placemats...
I cut a pumpkin out of newprint paper...then cut others by that pattern. I cut strips 2-2 1/2 inches wide and used newsprint pumkin it as a foundation to sew my strips to. Then cut to the pumpkin shape when done. I used a batting and backing to finish. Then quilted each one.

Quilt for Emma
I made this quilt for a little 2 year old girl who has an incurable disease. Hoping this will bring her warmth, comfort and joy! I used various strips of the sashing fabric to make a varigated binding.

Not a Quilt...but a shower curtain!
I wanted a fun shower curtain and matching valance. I tacked Flying Geese for the first time...do not look too closely, some of my geese tried to fly away! I also framed a block with a saying in front. I used the four-at-a-time method, but wish I had used Jenny's (the tutorial came out after I was done).
