Now that I am fully retired, I hope to enjoy making the quilts I dreamed about since I was a young girl studying the lovely old quilts on the bed at my Grandmother's house instead of sleeping. I have made a few in my life but still consider myself a beginner. I love looking at the Missouri Star website almost as much as I love piecing. I leave the actual quilting to others. I often think I should say I am a "piecer". I have figured out that I don't have to finish everything I have started or have fabric for before I start a new project. That was a huge relief. Knowing I have beautiful fabric waiting for me in the cabinet is wonderful. I am really looking forward to more fun with quilting and quilting friends.
