Airplanes and Hot Air Balloons

I made this for our younger son. He wanted airplanes and hot air balloons on his quilt. I was delighted to find blue material with clouds on it for the background! An added perk was that the border print on it made a great border for his quilt. (The border print is kids playing at the beach.) My original design, single bed size, hand stitched, tied, made in 2004. (The seams don't show up as much in real life; the sun behind the quilt makes them stand out more in the picture.)
