Menger's Sponge--not a quilt but it is patchwork
Menger’s Sponge made for our grandson's first Christmas. One photo shows him at 18 months IN the cube! The big cube has 72 different fabrics; the small cubes have the same six fabrics except for the black and white cube, which is the center block. So 79 different fabrics all together. (Hand stitched, big cube is 12" square, small cubes are 3.5".) From this tutorial: http://missgioia.com/2007/03/patchwork-cube-tutorial.html
