Quarantined in a Garden of Jewels.
Quarantined in a Garden of Jewels. A friend gave me Garden Path kit (by Red Button Quilts, that she bought at the quilt show in Puebla (Mexico) that we went to. It didn’t look very Garden Pathy to me so I added some blocks and rearranged it into the Jewel Box pattern. This was the first thing I finished during the covid-19 quarantine, hence the name. I lost some of the buttons and needed more anyway; I ended up buying some and coloring them with permanent markers. After I finished it, I gave it (back) to the friend who gave me the kit. (Hand stitched, hand quilted, about 13” square.)
