#1 Grandson's Graduation Quilt 2021

The material was selected many years ago. I had planned a lone star pattern. His mother didn't like that, so it marinated for a few years. Last year I asked him what he wanted as a pattern, a flag, he said. So after doing some checking about our image of the flag and use of the design, that the flag representation wasn't going to happen. We looked at the use of the flag. So we looked at many red, white and blue patterns and this one stood out for him. The last photo is of a dust cover to store his quilt in when not in use. I have enough material leftover that I generally make one.
