Blue Star Centerpiece for table

I used some scrap pieces for this piece. I paper pieced the diamond strips. Then sewed the strips together. I think it took me over 20 hours to make this small lone star centerpiece. These colors were chosen of the dishes my mother in law had. She finally broke down and started to use it after I fussed at her for not. So there are some stains on it. The calico print is my favorite one of all calicos.
