Mother's Panel Lap Quilt

After moving Mother to assistant living facility, I wondered into her sewing supplies and found this panel. Not sure what she had planned, but did find a chunk of fabric, right size for the back, so I used it for that purpose. I tried to follow some details with my quilting. Sorry that the photo is sideways. I'm going to surprise her with it when we see her over Memorial weekend, 2022. I hope she's surprised and happy to receive it.
