Fractal project

My husband gets a kick out of giving me challenges. He wanted a fractal quilt. So I started looking for a design. This one started out with a 3 x 3 square. I then went to UPS and enlarged it to several sizes bigger, Picked a fabric swatch for each piece, cut out each separate piece after taking a photo of the layout and assembled it. It was done as a quilt as you go adding a layer at a time and hand quilting ( lousy at it ) until the end.
