As a member of Quilts of Valor we receive many donations of fabric and among them are many pieces of homespun plaid. They sit in the boxes and sometimes big pieces will get pulled for backing. I decided to use them to make some quilts. The first one I tried was simple but the photo of the man who received it had a huge smile on his face. It was soft and very manly.
