A Bouquet for Barbara

In December, 2014, my friend Barbara had a terrible accident. As she was cooking, she reached over the stove and her sleeve caught on fire. Luckily, her husband was home at the time. He rushed to help her and called 911. Barbara spent 3 months in the burn unit at the hospital, and rehab. She is home now, but still recovering. I started this quilt when the tragedy occurred, and finished it a week before she got home. Barbara was so happy to get her gift.
