"Worn Out West"
I purchased this Alexander Henry fabric about 7 years before I started using it as I became involved with other activities. About 1 year later I found at little bit more of the fabric (through Etsy). Then it took me about 6 months to find complementary fabrics and plan a design. As I'm horsewoman, this fabric is very dear to me. The blue is nearly a jeans color but matches the blue in the AH fabric. The sashing is a pale grey with white and the grey picks up the same grey on the conchos, bolo, and buckles. I'm sure many will recognize the old vines & leaves gold... that's such a standby fabric that comes in SO many colors. I have saved the selvedge and will incorporate that into the quilt as I finish it. All the squares are now completed (May 2017). This was only my 2nd ever quilt.
