Daughter’s Quilt
Darling Daughter needed a new quilt. This is a free pattern called Autumn Medley. But she couldn’t decide on the size; king or queen. So this quilt sat for a year waiting (without its borders) not only for her to decide what size but also because I really thought it turned out not beautiful. After quilting my Mom’s Pink and Blue quilt I realized this quilt to was going to be about the quilting. So I girded my loins and got to work. Oh, we did decide to push it to as big as the backing would allow. It will be 110 by 110. I watched some videos and looked through designs. Will edit this as I complete it; not sure I actually have a pattern name, it might just be a picture of a block. Somebody commented that I quilt using a domestic machine. It is an 18 longarm TinLizzie. I have it setup as a “normal” sideways sit down.
