Lemon Star Stash Quilt

Periodically I go through my fabric and pull old, small pieces, and really anything that looks like it would be tough to incorporate into a quilt. Recently I had done just that then I saw Jenny Doan's Lemon Star tutorial. I thought my retired fabrics might be just perfect for this since they really seemed to be a bunch of disjointed florals. Since I was working with weird shapes and sizes I cut all of the triangles and then paired them up. It worked great and I ended up with more than enough blocks to create a throw size quilt that are then used locally for shrouds by the hospital. The white background really makes the stars (flowers) stand out. It is quilted with an overall large meander.
