Pansies and Tulips

This started out as the log cabin block for a gift exchange in 2018. I liked it! Then I saw the tulip block and the idea was born! I just kept adding borders until I got to a king sized quilt. Then it sat for a year, even was sandwiched, while I decided how to do the quilting. As the State and then country went into lockdown I decided now was the time to clean up my projects and use up stash. It was easy to decide on the feathers for the center and then I did a lot of stitch in the ditch for the black borders. One of the flower borders I made my own tulip template! Then my quilting machine had to make two trips to the Dr! Was able to finish the last of the feathers before second trip. The last was all finished on my domestic. Poor thing! It was a trouper.
