Quilting Gloves

Quilting Gloves

One of the people I follow on YouTube said to buy the gardening gloves at the Dollar Store to use for quilting. Well, they were too short for my fingers so I starting cutting off the tips of the fingers; which of course they started fraying. So, I just used a blanket stitch to contain the ends. Wow! This made a big difference for me. Because of the neuropathy in my fingers I really couldn't feel the needle through the gloves and was constantly taking them on and off to tie off threads. When my good quilting gloves starting getting holes in the tips I felt it was okay to cut them off. I cut them a bit long and turned them under to hem the ends. LOVE THEM! Not having to take my gloves off all the time is a little thing, but wow!
