A Polka Dot Star

I was inspired to make this picnic size string quilt while watching a sewing program. A fun winter project. I used a good portion of leftover pieces of fabric from other projects. As you can see, every type of fabric formed this quilt. You start with a kite template and the pieces are sewn to form the block. I machine quilted a musical motif...I was happily done.
