I returned to quilting after retiring from teaching and raising my children. I discovered that much to my delight -- the tools, fabric choices, and techniques have improved beyond measure. Even my domestic machine needed an upgrade. Like many things in life, quilting poses challenges, surprises and infinite pleasure.
