Crazy for Red Reversible Placemats

Crazy for Red Reversible Placemats

The precut roll of Crazy for Red finally found its way into a project. The pattern used strips and fusible interfacing to assemble both sides at the same time. Used my walking foot to topstitch the pieced areas. I made six placemats and a couple of patchwork mug rugs with the leftover fabrics. I found some matching yardage on sale at my local quilt store. There was enough to stitch coordinating napkins which I'm working on. Loved the reversible placemat concept and will perhaps try this with some holiday fabrics.
