Matt's Hunter Star

Made this for my oldest son. He's my outdoorsman so the Hunter's Star was perfect for him. I used a lot of blues and oranges from my stash and Jennifer Sampou's Feathers in Smoke. I cut my own charm squares except for the white background, those were Kona White. Jenny's Hunter Star tutorial was very helpful in completing the piecing. I add an additional row and column and added multiple borders. The final size was a very generous queen size. This is the first quilt that I quilted lots of feathers on, after a lot of practicing.
