coffee mugs

I found this pattern a few years ago, but was just starting out with quilting and was overwhelmed by all the itty bitty pieces. I also only did "stitch in the ditch" quilting. Since discovering Missouri stars tutorials, I have become more confident and more experienced in my piecing and quilting technique. Up until now I have mostly made baby blankets and throws for friends and family. This quilt is special because it is the first one I have made for myself!
