11 & 12 of a 12 PATRIOTIC WALL HANGING PROJECT

Disappearing 4-Patch Star - Block Magazine Spring Vol 3 Issue 2. I was never a fan of the star block. I just didn't see why other quilter like it so much. Well, now I understand. After I finished the One Star Block Pattern Quilt top - the lights went off in my head and I got it. This is such a powerful block. To compliment the American Theme, why not make 9 smaller ones for a quilt top? These are my favorites of this collection. What did I learn? 1. The smaller the block, the more detail and time it takes to finish. (( Well worth it. )) 2. Never ever buy cheap batting again. (( I was trying to stretch my dollar but the batting debris - UGH was more work than saving a couple pennies. )) THANK-YOU for sharing this experience with me. I had a lot of fun, feelings of accomplishment, this definitely fed my creative side. and it did not end up in my UFO'S. - I feel just amazing right now. ♪. . . hi.ho.hi.ho.hi.ho.hi.ho. . . .
