PATRIOTIC WALLHANGING - 1 & 2 OF 12 Piece Project

i wanted to make a donation in support of America, before I knew it, I was all involved into buying fabric, researching patterns, sewing, sewing, and more sewing. I started out simple. THE COMPASS STAR! one sheet pattern by Wendy Engel. I had a fear of Half Square Triangles, therefore, I avoided project that had them. This time I overcame my fear and just tried. I definitely need more practice but the fear is gone. What did I learn? It is very important to be aware of points. A lot of my points didn't make this project. GOD BLESS AMERICA.
