Bento box quilt

This quilt was done as a comfort quilt for someone fighting cancer. I found some bright summery calming fabrics that I liked and embroidered words of encouragement to it in spots and backed it with cuddle cloth. It was received by her the evening she got back from a chemo treatment and was having a bad day. It apparently did it's job, her spirits were lifted and she took to the couch for a nap with it.
