Sgt. Soper's 10th Angelversary Quilt

My grandson's Uncle Matthew was killed in Baghdad, Iraq, on June 6, 2007. I just mailed this quilt to Matthew's mother (my grandson's other grandmother). I used Renata's Heart Quilt pattern, modifying it slightly to make sure that the blue heart in the center was completely surrounded by the white heart ~ the blue heart representing Matthew and the white heart representing his mother. Expanding the pattern by about 8 additional rows on the left and right side of the pattern results in the completion of the second heart.
