Autumn Maple Leaves

A couple of years ago, I made some maple leaf blocks using Jenny's tutorial and a batik jelly roll, but I slashed the 2 1/2 inch background squares on the diagonal and pieced in my stems. Looking around for an interesting setting, I found Kimberly Einmo's "Leaves in the Pumpkin Patch" quilt in her book Jelly Roll Magic. I toyed with various scrap borders, but decided this year that I would use the half-square triangle border of Einmo's quilt. I put the last stitches in the binding, this afternoon!
