Butterfly Migration
This is a Trip-Around-the-World pattern, done in the Watercolor style. I currently can't find my book with the designer's name, but I will update here when I trip over it....the name Robinson is coming to mind. This is my first quilt in the 21st century, and the only finished quilt that I have kept for myself. My daughters have named it "The Sleepy Quilt," as any one who snuggles in it falls asleep. Each of my children and grandchildren have slept under or on it! The quilt is soft and soothing and well-loved. The quilt has proven very difficult to photograph. Each of the coordinating fabrics has sketches of butterflies, either black on white or white on black. Thank you for the stickers and praise, but I can assure you that it's not a difficult pattern. As I recall, it was strip-pieced and then rotary cut into blocks. The most difficulty I had was getting the colors and blocks into the correct positions and not turned around during sewing!
