Flaming Peppers Mixer Stand Quilted Cover

Like many other quilters, I have been making lots of face masks since March. I have also been spot sewing on several quilt projects, here and there. So, I felt the need to complete something, other than masks, in short order. So, I whipped up this quilted cover for a mixer stand using a piece of flaming red peppers. It's modeled on my turquoise mixer stand, but is for my daughter's red mixer. One can't tell from the photo, but it IS quilted in one-inch channels over a quilt sandwich of fabric, two layers of Insul-brite, and a muslin lining. Since I have plenty of large flaming peppers scraps left, I have cut several sets of twin hot pads which I will be finishing today!
