M&M Quilt

Made from a piece of M&Ms fabric and coordinated bright scraps, this quilt has been called my M&M Quilt from its beginning. The pattern is actually the Brave World Quilt from the book MORE NICKEL QUILTS, by Pat Speth. I used her pieced block pattern and her border (border shown in 2nd photo.) I decided to try quilting from the reverse side, following the wavy lines on the wild piece of fabric that I pulled from my stash for the backing (shown in picture three by my young granddaughter, who declared that she liked the back "the best".) Hmmm, not the first time I've heard that; maybe I should switch to plain backing fabric, LOL.
