Skylander Quilt

Several months ago, I saw the Skylander fabrics on MSQC. Since my grandson had been collecting Skylander games and figures for years, I purchased a package of 10-squares, and made the entire pack up into blocks, using Jenny's Checkered Lattice Quilt tutorial. As I began to put the quilt together, I realized that the quilt would be much bigger than the throw I had in mind. I used 48 of the blocks and have 36 blocks left over. I finished the quilt and "surprised" my grandson with it just this week. He thanked me, but said that he prefers the back of it, as he's "no longer into" Skylanders. Well, at least he's politely honest, and intends to use the quilt. I enjoyed making the blocks, regardless!
