Starry Blues

I started this Quilt in 2009 with hand sewn sawtooth stars. I wanted to have a quilt in Blues, Aquas, Purples, and no star should be a repeat. It was my beginning project and helped a great deal in very dark times in the years. The top is now finished (October 2015) as I have been attaching the piano key border with the batiks. I have also prepped the batting and the backing, but as the size is something 2,50 -2,70 m this will be a no go for my home machine. Still I want to finish this all over, so I am thinking of hand quilting the piece. It will wait for me and I know that I will finish this one and never part with it.
