No tradition of quilters in my family, came in touch with this 2008, started my hand sewing project in 2009 and have been hooked since. I like to learn more and new techniques, still try to build up a decent stash and realize that I am tending to use more of a mix from my stash rather than only a kit or a set of precuts. I have still the highest appreciation of Mary Fons who said that to make a quilt with scraps is like being warmed by so many ideas and love. So yes - I fully love the nature of quilts and quilted stuff of being practical, sturdy, handmade and creative (hopefully nice).
