Autumn for Denissa

After "Springtime for Sarah" was shared on FaceBook, Sarah's friend Denissa asked if I would make her one called "Autumn for Denissa." When she announced her plans to be married the following October, I found some fall-themed fabrics. I decided on the Warm Wishes quilt. I didn't have a pattern; I just looked at the picture and figured out how to do the blocks. I added a piano-key border and top-stitched with gold metallic thread. When she returned from the out-of-state wedding shower, Sarah informed me that Denissa had burst into tears when she pulled the quilt from the gift bag, and hugged it for a good long time. Guess she liked it!
