Debbie's 60th

This quilt is for my former niece's 60th birthday. I say "former" because she was married to my nephew who passed away several years ago. Debbie has become a good friend to me, especially after my hip replacement surgery when no one was available for support or assistance in my recovery. She lost a leg shortly before my surgery and her positive attitude regarding this tragedy inspired me through my ordeal. She has volunteered in our local veteran's group and has a heart of gold. Thank you, Debbie!
