Starburst

This is a variation of the Big Star tutorial. It was a difficult quilt for me to make. I'm a relatively new quilter and getting those points aligned were a real task for me. I didn't feel like a did a very good job with aligning every point and every star until it all came together. There's something about when you add batting and a backing and then quilt it and see that everything turned out no matter how you felt about struggling with those points that you finally fall in love with it. I gave this quilt to my former school teacher neighbor who turned 80 in December.
